From roller coasters, to fully decorated sets, to camping equipment and more, these pastors are bringing people to the Lord with everything but the Bible.

In the U.S., there are about 1,800 churches that can reasonably be called “mega-churches.” These churches have over 2,000 members in regular attendance — and when you’re playing to crowds that big, you can’t just be talking about the standard “John 3:16” over and over again.

Instead, you have to find a way to stick in the people’s memories so that they’ll keep attending (and donating). In order to do that, some pastors have taken to spending the church’s money on an absolutely surreal array of props and stage decorations.
